How do I access the field?
Enter the parking area, the first gate is not locked and may have been left open by the previous client. The video explaining how to open the padlock is on the Website/Facebook/Instagram page. Written instructions are also displayed next to the gate. It’s really simple to open. Enter the code, making sure that the numbers are correctly aligned. Push the black button on the base of the padlock and the lock will open. Click this link for a video demonstrating how to unlock the gate.
Where is the field located?
The field is on Cross Common Road, Dinas Powys CF64 4TP. What 3 words are gifted//hungry//vets. We are also on google maps (see the map page). There are two orange traffic cones at the entrance to help you locate us. There is a sign on the gate for Fun and Run as seen on the Gallery page.
Can I cancel/reschedule my appointment?
Yes you can cancel/reschedule up to 2 hours before your appointment. I would ask that you give as much notice as possible to allow others to book the slot.
Can I bring a picnic?
Absolutely yes! There are areas to sit, just make sure any rubbish is put in the bin which is located in the parking area.
Can I bring more than 3 dogs?
Unfortunately, not at the moment. The council has limited us to a maximum of 3 dogs as a condition of planning consent.
Can I smoke/vape while using the field?
We ask you not to smoke or vape while using the field, due to the fire risk and the risk to the dogs if vape liquid or cigarette ends are ingested.
Can I bring toys for my dog to play with?
Yes of course! Just remember to take them home as they may not be suitable for the next dog using the field. Also please dispose of any chewed pieces/broken toys in the bin located in the parking area.
